Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Larry Tact (ranked 2919 p4p, 3236 weight class) and Jarrod Beard (ranked 361 p4p, 393 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Beard counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Beard cracks Tact with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Beard has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Tact to stand back up!

Beard sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Tact's defenses. It connects perfectly with Tact's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
