Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Donny Jay!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jay sprawls well. Jay wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gracie gets slowly back to his feet.
Jay moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Nice shot by Jay.
Gracie dives in for a single leg takedown but Jay sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Gracie throws a punch but it's blocked by Jay.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Gracie.
Jay blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Gracie misses with some punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jay content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Jay manages to break the clinch.
Gracie has his takedown stuffed
and Jay cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eliz Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jay lands a body shot.
Jay lands a nice shot that snaps Gracie's head back.

Jay fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Gracie on the side of the head.
Gracie is rocked!
Jay wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Oh Gracie is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jay lands a nice shot to the body.
Gracie doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Jay counters with a big right hand! Oh Gracie is in trouble here! Jay follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

Eliz Gracie was interviewed post fight and said 'It sucks to lose. But i'm not done yet. All my respect goes out to Donny and his team, they had the perfect gameplan to solve my puzzle, very tough young man, make sure to show him some love. I gotta go back to the drawing board and see whats next.'.
