Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ken Masters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ron Huerta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Huerta comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Summer of 69 kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ron Huerta! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Huerta looks for a takedown but Masters sprawls well. Huerta clinches up with Masters and pushes him back against the cage. Masters is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Huerta controlling the action here for a moment.
Huerta prevents Masters from breaking the clinch. Huerta breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Masters throws a one two combo.
Huerta tries for a takedown but Masters sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Masters circles away from the clinch attempt.

Masters goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Huerta shoots in looking for a takedown. Masters tries to sprawl out of it but Huerta keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Masters manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Masters throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Huerta closes the distance and clinches up with Masters, looking for a takedown. Huerta pushes Masters against the cage but Masters circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Masters works over Huerta's head and body with a nice combination.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Huerta is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Masters. A combination from Masters does no damage. Huerta clinches. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Huerta cracks Masters with a big elbow. Masters on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Masters tries to get out of the position. Masters is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Huerta scores with a couple of short elbows. Masters avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Huerta. Huerta scores with punches from side control. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Huerta working the head with strikes. Masters is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. Huerta closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Masters pushes Huerta away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Huerta gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Masters gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Ron Huerta has got the better of the ground game so far. The referee warns Masters that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Huerta working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Masters wants to stand up but Huerta is controlling him. Masters throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Huerta closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Ron Huerta comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Huerta winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
