Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rakeem Marley (ranked 2801 p4p, 1318 weight class) and Mousa Sissoko (ranked 353 p4p, 181 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Marley might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Damian Marley - Welcome to Jamrock. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sissoko attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Marley ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Sissoko paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Marley thows a body kick. Sissoko tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Marley checks a leg kick.
Sissoko misses with an uppercut. Marley saw that one coming.
A shot to the liver by Marley. Beautiful body shot.
Marley misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Sissoko throws a left and a right that both miss
and Marley makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Sissoko pivots, looking for a leg kick but Marley is out of range and Sissoko settles back down.
Marley throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Sissoko.

It looks like Mousa Sissoko has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Marley appears to be looking for a big counter.
Marley has been working on his boxing with his coaches at LAFC Training Center in the buildup to the fight.
A nice leg kick from Sissoko, right into the meat of the thigh.

Sissoko dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Marley. That did some damage!

Marley pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sissoko buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Sissoko misses the shot to the body.
Sissoko lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

It looks like Rakeem Marley has been cut.
Sissoko scores with a nice right hand.

Oooooh!!! Marley has knocked Sissoko down with a huge combo! Marley steps away and waves a wobbly Sissoko back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Marley moves into the clinch.

Sissoko misses with a wild body shot.
As Sissoko looks to move away, Marley throws a big counter combo but Sissoko just gets out of the way.
Marley throws a right and a left that both miss.
Marley cracks Sissoko with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

That has opened up Mousa Sissoko's cut even more.
Mousa Sissoko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Marley will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A combination from Marley does no damage.

Sissoko blocks a jab.
Sissoko lands with a thumping leg kick.
Sissoko shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Marley as he jumps to the side.
Marley goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Sissoko misses with a low kick.
A jab lands there for Sissoko.
Marley looks to score with a jab to the body but Sissoko is just out of range.
Sissoko dodges the punch combination from Marley.
Marley displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sissoko throws out the jab.
Sissoko swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Marley rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sissoko moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Nice shot lands for Sissoko.

Sissoko fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Marley has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Sissoko lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Marley displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sissoko throws out the jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sissoko looks to score with a jab to the body but Marley is just out of range.
Sissoko throws a jab but it's blocked by Marley.
Sissoko lands a nice looking body shot.
Marley lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sissoko circles away quickly and effectively.
Marley is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sissoko.
Sissoko tries to counter with a clinch but Marley shakes him off and moves away.
Sissoko misses with a low kick.
Marley seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Sissoko tries to score a power double leg takedown but Marley sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sissoko somewhat.
Rakeem Marley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mousa Sissoko.

and Marley counters with a straight right hand.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Marley uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Sissoko.

Marley throws a head kick but Sissoko moves out of range.
Sissoko lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Marley is rocked!
Marley is aggressively charging in as Sissoko backs up avoiding any damage. Sissoko tosses out a jab and Marley runs right into it face first! Marley is out cold! Sissoko dropped down on all fours and is barking in Marley's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mousa Sissoko!
Mousa Sissoko spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
