The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson throws a looping overhand right but Sleeth ducks down to avoid it.
Johnson looks to score with a jab to the body but Sleeth is just out of range.

Sleeth changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Johnson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Sleeth lands a nice forearm strike.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Johnson takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Sleeth is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Johnson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Johnson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sleeth on the ground.
Sleeth is putting a hurting on Johnson here, landing some big shots from side control.
