Noeigati comes to the cage accompanied by Cremation of Sam McGee. Benjamin Noeigati has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bastiat misses with a wild combination.

Noeigati gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Noeigati throws a punch but it's blocked by Bastiat.

Bastiat is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Noeigati can't fight it off and eventually Bastiat manages to take the fight to the floor. Noeigati looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Bastiat has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bastiat wants to pass the guard but Noeigati is keeping the position.

Bastiat closes the distance and clinches up with Noeigati, looking for a takedown. Bastiat pushes Noeigati against the cage but Noeigati circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Noeigati appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Frederic Bastiat seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Noeigati uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bastiat.
Noeigati swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Bastiat is trying to drag Noeigati to the mat but Noeigati just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
