Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gust Kiel (ranked 2804 p4p, 3917 weight class) and Christian Simbolon (ranked 0 p4p, 475 weight class). Simbolon comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Welcome to the Jungle kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! On his way into the cage it seems that Gust Kiel has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Gust Kiel seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Simbolon is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Simbolon doesn't manage to clinch there - Kiel circles away.

Kiel has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Simbolon defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Kiel.
Kiel manages to capitalize on a mistake by Simbolon to take his back!
Simbolon rolls, trying to escape but Kiel keeps control of the position.
Simbolon manages to reverse the position and now he's in Kiel's guard. Nice work there by Simbolon.
Simbolon wants to control from the top but Kiel keeps moving.

Simbolon looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kiel lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Kiel stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Simbolon swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kiel is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Kiel seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Simbolon for as long as he can get away with.
