Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tapad Amiga (ranked 5740 p4p, 25274 weight class) and Rico Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Amiga drives through with a takedown into Salvacion's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Amiga manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Salvacion on his heels. He'll look to pass Salvacion's guard now, I'm sure.

Salvacion has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Amiga has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Salvacion works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Tapad Amiga will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Salvacion stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Amiga swivels though and keeps the full guard.
