Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, McGregor Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Joseph Hamadou!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hamadou throws a series of punches but Lee moves out of range.
Hamadou shoots in but no luck this time.
Hamadou will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A slow jab from Hamadou misses its intended target.
Hamadou throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lee's waist but Lee gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hamadou off to one side.
An attempted straight right counter from Lee misses the target.
Lee gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Lee lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Hamadou.
Lee's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hamadou shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lee but Lee pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Lee definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
McGregor Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joseph Hamadou.
Hamadou shoots in but Lee avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Joseph Hamadou seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lee connects with a body shot that sends Hamadou's belly button to the back.
Hamadou shoots in for a double leg but Lee sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Hamadou misses with a double jab
and Lee scores with a counter punch that sends Hamadou to the canvas! Lee smells blood - he's punishing Hamadou with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Hamadou has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
