Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mick Murphy (ranked 1413 p4p, 1338 weight class) and Miki Viki (ranked 191 p4p, 181 weight class). Mick Murphy had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 157.7lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Viki throws a hook but Murphy blocks it.
Viki pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Viki works over Murphy's head and body with a nice combination.
Murphy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Viki misses with a looping left.
Miki Viki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Viki misses with a looping right.
Murphy takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Viki missing with a left hand there. Murphy was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Murphy moves out of range as Viki throws a body kick.
Viki jabs Murphy to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Viki moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Viki throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Murphy half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Viki throws a head kick that misses.

Viki misses with a straight right.
Viki comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Viki misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Murphy drops down looking for a counter takedown but Viki sprawls and moves away.
The crowd cheers as Viki lands an impressive looking overhand right. Murphy doesn't seem phased though.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Viki Throws a clean left jab. Viki Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Murphy's chin! Murphy crumbles to the ground and Viki follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Viki!
