The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marui takes a swing at Bader's ribcage but misses.
Bader avoids the body shot from Marui.
Bader walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Marui throws a jab when Bader was well out of range.
Marui takes a body punch but keeps moving.
We've been informed that Bader has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Nice defenses there by Marui.
Bader throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Bader drops Marui with a beautiful combination! Marui stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Bader is looking for the KO!

It looks like Naoko Marui has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bader scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Oh Marui is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bader lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Marui up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Bader from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Marui's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
