Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kento Haraguchi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ren Hashimoto!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hashimoto moves into the clinch.
Haraguchi trying to control the position but instead, Hashimoto has worked for underhooks and has pushed Haraguchi into the ropes.

Haraguchi breaks the clinch.
Hashimoto moves out of range as Haraguchi throws a body kick.
Haraguchi tries a head kick but it misses.
Hashimoto pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Haraguchi blocks a head kick by Hashimoto.
A slapping body kick lands there for Hashimoto.
Haraguchi lands a high kick!

It looks like Ren Hashimoto has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hashimoto darts in and clinches Haraguchi up against the ropes.

Haraguchi really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

As Hashimoto looks to move away, Haraguchi throws a big counter combo but Hashimoto just gets out of the way.

Haraguchi lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Hashimoto backwards.

That was a close round but I would say that Kento Haraguchi will probably get the nod.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Haraguchi scores with a one two! Hashimoto had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Hashimoto is still on wobbly legs! Can Haraguchi finish him?
Hashimoto looks to clinch
and Haraguchi takes advantage, countering with a massive head kick that sends Hashimoto sprawling across the canvas! That's completely screwed up his equilibrium and I'm not sure he's going to beat the count! The referee's already at 6 and Hashimoto is flopping around all over the place - the referee has seen enough and has called an end to the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Kento Haraguchi!
