Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hatake Kakashi (ranked 2551 p4p, 22900 weight class) and Norris Chow (ranked 272 p4p, 537 weight class). Norris Chow is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Hatake Kakashi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 14 - 2, fighting out of Tokyo, Norris Chow!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Richard Clark and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good leg kick by Chow.
Chow throws a head kick but Kakashi moves out of range.
Kakashi swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Chow slips under a jab.
Chow thumps Kakashi with a low kick.
Chow with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Chow misses with a two punch combination.
Chow misses with a jab, cross combination.
Kakashi lands a glancing blow to the side of Chow's head.
Chow lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Kakashi moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Nice straight punches there by Kakashi. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Kakashi.

Chow lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kakashi circles away quickly and effectively.

That was a close round but I would say that Hatake Kakashi will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Kakashi lands with a hook. Chow tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Kakashi loads up on a big right hand but Chow slips the punch.
Norris Chow seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Chow throws a head kick but Kakashi moves out of range.
Chow moves out of range as Kakashi strikes.
Chow throws a head kick that misses.
Chow takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Kakashi throws a hook but Chow avoids it easily.
Kakashi throws a lazy right hand but Chow sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Chow doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Kakashi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hatake Kakashi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Chow throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Oh Kakashi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kakashi throws a hook but Chow avoids it easily.

Chow shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kakashi is trying to defend but Chow finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

That was a close second round but I would say that Hatake Kakashi will probably get the nod.

Chow stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Chow wants it to stay on the feet.

Chow got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kakashi has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Chow has managed to get both his arms back between Kakashi's legs - danger averted.

Chow pushes down on Kakashi's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Chow landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Chow connects with a nice short shot to Kakashi's temple.

Chow thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kakashi's head.
Chow is pressing down on Kakashi's thigh, looking to free his foot. Kakashi is holding on for now.
Chow scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Chow looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kakashi with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Chow throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Kakashi is trying to control but Chow passes into side control!
Chow works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Kakashi parries the strikes from Chow easily there. Chow is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Kakashi to escape.

Chow is trying to get an arm triangle but Kakashi is defending well.

Chow is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kakashi knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Kakashi manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Oooooh, big shot lands for Chow! Kakashi is hurt baaadly! Chow is firing away with more strikes - Kakashi is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
