Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Swanson has taken the fight to the clinch.

Swanson has picked Bettocher up - he's going for a ride! Swanson dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Bettocher has hold of Swanson's hands but Swanson slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Bettocher wants to control but Swanson is keeping busy.
Swanson is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Swanson throws a strike but Bettocher avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bettocher is on top in guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bettocher accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Swanson wants to control but Bettocher passes easily into half guard.
Bettocher seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Swanson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
