PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Action Bastard (ranked 1523 p4p, 1183 weight class) and Brooke Marsden (ranked 168 p4p, 134 weight class). Bastard comes to the cage accompanied by Japanese And Lovely - Jucifer. Marsden comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Lunatic Fringe kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Marsden holds on and takes a little breather.
Marsden is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Marsden shoots in looking for a takedown. Bastard tries to sprawl out of it but Marsden keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bastard manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Oh but Marsden is tightening it up a little... Bastard has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Bastard reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Bastard taps out! Nice BJJ there by Marsden!
