Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good standup being displayed there by Ruutu as he connects with a hook.
Steiner tries to clinch up.
Steiner misses with a hook.
Steiner is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Ruutu drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Steiner tries to bench press Ruutu off him but Ruutu keeps the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ruutu stands up.
Steiner throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Steiner misses with a takedown attempt

and Ruutu counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Steiner!
Steiner can't escape the position.
Ruutu controlling his opponent.
Ruutu with shots to the head and body - Steiner looks very uncomfortable down there.

Steiner is bucking up trying to escape but Ruutu cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Steiner is wriggling around trying to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ruutu looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Ruutu trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Ruutu has hold of Steiner's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Steiner manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Ruutu prevents Steiner from getting the reversal.
Steiner wants to hold on but Ruutu pushes him away.
Steiner tries to reverse the position but Ruutu maintains control.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Ruutu throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Steiner has his hands clasped together but Ruutu breaks the hold and Steiner is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Ruutu!
