The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Porter takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jay Porter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

It looked like Porter wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Porter has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Porter there as he acknowledges the shot.
Porter rushes Val Pacheco Da Silva with punches - Val Pacheco Da Silva moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Val Pacheco Da Silva goes down! Porter follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
