Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hayato Sakuraba (ranked 828 p4p, 1901 weight class) and Lyke Tuytuhlz (ranked 115 p4p, 263 weight class). Tuytuhlz is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Nas - N.Y. State of Mind. Hayato Sakuraba had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.9lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. On his way into the cage it seems that Hayato Sakuraba has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Hayato Sakuraba seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tuytuhlz throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sakuraba sees it coming and avoids it easily.

We've been hearing good reports from Sakuraba's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Sakuraba lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Tuytuhlz quite badly. Tuytuhlz pulls Sakuraba in close trying to recover. Sakuraba postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Tuytuhlz on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Tuytuhlz doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

During a confident post fight interview, Hayato Sakuraba thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
