The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ovac shoots in looking for a takedown. Barker tries to sprawl out of it but Ovac keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Barker manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A slapping leg kick lands for Barker.
Ovac misses with a takedown attempt - Barker sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Barker scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Barker advances nicely into full mount.

Ovac is in all sorts of trouble here.
A nice elbow there by Barker.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Barker connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Ovac has left one of his arms exposed and Barker doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Ovac screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
