Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pierce Freeman (ranked 4903 p4p, 4850 weight class) and Xigua Tou (ranked 495 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freeman swings away with a body shot that misses

and Tou counters with a shoot takedown. Freeman fights it but they end up in guard.
Tou slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Tou is putting a hurting on Freeman here, landing some big shots from side control.
Tou wants to lay and pray for a moment but Freeman keeps working.
Tou working the ground and pound but Freeman is defending the strikes.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tou has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Freeman is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Tou yanks on the arm and Freeman is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Tou.
