Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ronnie White (ranked 3920 p4p, 1706 weight class) and Maxim Ward (ranked 468 p4p, 225 weight class). White kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Battlesick. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Maxim Ward!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White walks into a stiff left hand from Ward.
A jab from Ward finds it's way through White's defenses.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
White bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Ward's head.
White drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Ward misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from White.
White misses with an uppercut.
Ward lands a jab to White's midsection.
A low kick from White misses
and Ward counters with a straight right hand.
White just misses with a punch to the body.
White throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ward let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Ward keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ward moves forwards but White connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Ward throws a hook to the side of White's head but White sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

White gets caught flat footed, as Ward shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Ward is working White over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
White pulls Ward in to control the position.

Ward is working for a kimura but White is defending it quite comfortably.

Ward is looking to take a break and control but White is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
White is trying to maintain the position but Ward is very close to passing his half guard.
White is trying to get back to full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Ward is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Ward looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Ward has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Ward drops an elbow to the side of White's head.

White is trying to maintain the position but Ward is very close to passing his half guard.
White might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Ward in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. White tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Ward!
