The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elkins fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Salvacion counters with a body kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Elkins looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
And Salvacion responds with a good body kick, but Elkins manages to step out the way in time.
Elkins lunges at Salvacion with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Salvacion's hand.
Elkins throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Elkins scores with a sloppy right hand. Salvacion should have avoided that one.
Elkins swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Salvacion is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Elkins with a body shot.

And Salvacion responds with a good body kick, but Elkins manages to step out the way in time.

Elkins shoots in for a double leg but Salvacion sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Elkins tries to close the distance and clinch but Salvacion swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Salvacion feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
