Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Better Dead!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 12 - 3, fighting out of New York, James Cole!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Eliza Hachem and Ron Honeybunn.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dead misses with a double jab
and Cole counters with a nice leg kick.
Dead fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Dead rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Cole counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Better Dead has been cut.
Dead throws a right and a left that Cole avoids nicely.
Cole looks like he wants to counter punch here.

and Cole counters with a nice uppercut.

letting Cole counter with a right hand.
Cole lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Cole counters with an inside leg kick.
Dead throws a series of punches but Cole moves out of range.
No joy there for Dead, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

and Cole counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Cole lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Cole has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Cole there as he acknowledges the shot.

Cole showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Dead.
Cole uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Dead.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Cole! But no joy.
Cole takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Dead throws a poor cross that misses
and Cole connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
The crowd cheers as Dead lands an impressive looking overhand right. Cole doesn't seem phased though.

and Cole counters with a deadly accurate combination that rocks Dead badly! He tries to strike back but Cole puts an end to that with another precision combo that knocks Dead out cold! Oh man, Dead will never hear the end of this one!

James Cole spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
