Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kelly Williams (ranked 3747 p4p, 5150 weight class) and Brian Kingman (ranked 360 p4p, 428 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kelly Williams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brian Kingman!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Jonathan Paton and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Kingman takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Williams dodges the punch combination from Kingman.
Williams throws a lazy right hand but Kingman sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Kingman slips a jab and a cross from Williams.
Williams takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Williams throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Kingman connects with a jab.

Williams ducks straight into an uppercut from Kingman and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Williams manages to regain guard straight away.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kingman stands and steps away. Williams gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Oh Williams is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kingman has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Williams will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kingman is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Williams with a body shot.

Williams wants to sweep here but Kingman controlling him for the moment.
Kingman stands and throws Williams's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Williams's coaches at Deep waters have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

You get the feeling that Williams really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Williams is desperately trying to improve his position but Kingman has a good base and remains in mount.
Williams seems to have got his legs back now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Williams tries to hold on but Kingman pushes him away.

Kingman is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Williams has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Kingman is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Williams is surviving well by controlling Kingman's body position as best he can.
Williams is looking to improve his position but Kingman isn't that keen on the idea.
Kingman breaks from Williams's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Williams is in all sorts of trouble here.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kingman can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Williams is looking to escape.
Williams bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Williams has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Kingman is proving hard to escape from.

Kingman escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Williams gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Kingman shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Kingman was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kingman drops back looking for a leg! Williams is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Williams manages to kick Kingman off! Kingman jumps back into Williams's guard.

Williams shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Kingman eats them both and turns towards Williams to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Williams moves forwards but Kingman connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Williams misses with the combination.

Williams walks straight into a right hand from Kingman - that's dropped him! Kingman jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Williams from any more punishment! Williams complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:08 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Brian Kingman!
Brian Kingman decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
