Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Snail Tail (ranked 2549 p4p, 1120 weight class) and Roman Kos (ranked 297 p4p, 160 weight class). Tail comes to the cage accompanied by Neil Diamond - Sweet Caroline. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Snail Tail!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Roman Kos!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Kos. Those never looked like landing.
Kos misses with a wild combination.
Kos feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Tails jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Tail moves away from the strike by Kos.
Tail takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
A big right from Kos misses.
Tail fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Kos throws a head kick that misses.
Tail tries to counter with a takedown but Kos is quick to defend against it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tail takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Tail fires out a quick counter leg kick but Kos just manages to avoid it.
A shot to the liver by Kos. Beautiful body shot.

Kos slaps away a takedown attempt from Tail, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Kos lands with a kick to the temple. Tail shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

It looks like Snail Tail has been cut.
Kos with a nice cross.
Kos throws a looping overhand right but Tail ducks down to avoid it.
Kos misses with a head kick.
Tail takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Kos pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Kos misses with a few strikes there.
Tail blocks the body kick.
A counter left hand to the body from Tail misses its target.
Roman Kos is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kos gets off balance looking for a body kick

and Tail moves into the clinch.
Kos tries a body shot but Tail blocks it.

Kos escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Kos tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kos tries to bum rush Tail with a series of wild strikes but Tail uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kos looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Kos fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Tail walks into a left hand.
A cross from Kos lands.
Nice straight punches there by Kos. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Kos.
Kos misses with a looping right.
Tail thinks about countering with a body kick.
Kos scores with a jab to the body.
Kos tests Tail's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Kos is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Tail had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

Tail shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Tail has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Kos tries to kick Tail off in order to stand up. Tail Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Tail is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kos knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Kos is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Tail asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Kos wants to get back to his feet but Tail is dominant here and he's now got Kos's back!
Tail controls the action.

Tail sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Kos taps out!

A very excited looking Snail Tail rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
