PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rich Mahogany (ranked 5972 p4p, 3359 weight class) and Adam Ostrowski (ranked 604 p4p, 429 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Mahogany might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Litty. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mahogany checks the leg kick nicely there.
Mahogany tries a head kick but it misses.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Mahogany checks a leg kick.
Mahogany ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Mahogany tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Ostrowski manages to circle out of the way.
Mahogany throws a hook but Ostrowski blocks it.

Ostrowski looks to throw the jab but Mahogany is out of range.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ostrowski misses with an uppercut.
Mahogany lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Ostrowski looks to land a body kick but Mahogany moved away.

and Mahogany decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Ostrowski's guard.

Ostrowski has his feet on Mahogany's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Ostrowski looks to throw the jab but Mahogany is out of range.
Mahogany takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Mahogany throws a jab but it's blocked by Ostrowski.
Mahogany looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Ostrowski tries a low kick but Mahogany avoids it.

Mahogany closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Ostrowski's guard.

Ostrowski manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Mahogany manages to pull guard.
Ostrowski wants to control from the top but Mahogany keeps moving.

Mahogany is looking to cinch up a triangle. Ostrowski throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Mahogany's body to avoid the submission. Mahogany has instead reached around Ostrowski's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Mahogany arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

After winning the bout, Rich Mahogany thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
