Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gen Gen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and chai skantze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gen Gen looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, chai skantze!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
skantze displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
The crowd cheers as skantze lands an impressive looking overhand right. Gen doesn't seem phased though.
skantze just misses with a punch to the body.
skantze rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gen moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
skantze drops Gen with a beautiful combination! Gen stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - skantze is looking for the KO!
Gen is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
skantze swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Oh Gen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
skantze thuds a left hand into Gen's body.
Gen seems to have got his legs back now.
Gen is breathing heavily.
skantze rushes Gen with punches - Gen moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Gen goes down! skantze follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). chai skantze!
