Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bo Hell (ranked 24658 p4p, 5511 weight class) and Kevin Shinnie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shinnie has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 34 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kevin Shinnie!
The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Ben Watson and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shinnie stuffs the takedown.
Hell rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Shinnie moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Shinnie slips a straight right by Hell.
Shinnie wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Hell falls off balance throwing a combination
letting Shinnie counter with a right hand.

It looks like Bo Hell has been cut.
Shinnie listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Hell dives in for a single leg takedown but Shinnie sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Shinnie pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A left lands for Shinnie.
Good standup being displayed there by Hell as he connects with a hook.
Shinnie throws a half hearted mid kick.
Shinnie keeps the fight on the outside.
A jab from Shinnie finds it's way through Hell's defenses.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hell looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Shinnie is fending him off so far but Hell persists. Nope, Shinnie circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bo Hell. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Shinnie throws a right and a left that Hell avoids nicely.
Hell throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Shinnie connects with a nice looking jab.
Shinnie circles away from the clinch attempt.
Hell closes the distance but Shinnie moves to the side
and Shinnie makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Hell takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

and Shinnie counters with a right hand to the body.

It looks like Kevin Shinnie has been cut.
Shinnie looks winded!
Hell shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Shinnie sprawls well. Shinnie wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hell gets slowly back to his feet.
Hell misses with the combination.
Bo Hell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shinnie throws a series of punches but Hell avoids them all with ease.
A clash of legs there as Shinnie blocks the low kick.

Hell closes the distance looking to clinch
and Shinnie counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Shinnie moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hell darts in trying to clinch
and Shinnie cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Hell takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Hell takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Hell wants to clinch up but Shinnie keeps it at a distance.
As Hell backs off Shinnie throws a huge counter combo but Hell manages to avoid it all.
Hell tries to close the distance and clinch up but Shinnie swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A little jabbing left from Shinnie on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Kevin Shinnie is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Shinnie connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Shinnie drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Hell right on the button. Hell goes down! Shinnie follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Shinnie gets the win via TKO!
