Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Arjan Bhullar (ranked 5179 p4p, 23663 weight class) and Tayaen Porfirigo (ranked 543 p4p, 630 weight class). Bhullar comes into the arena with Daniel Cormier - All About That Cake blaring out of the sound system. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 38 - 29 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Arjan Bhullar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tayaen Porfirigo!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paul Aken and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Porfirigo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Porfirigo gets tackled into the cage by Bhullar. Bhullar maintains the clinch.
Bhullar breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Porfirigo tries for a takedown but Bhullar circles away easily
and Bhullar counters with a head kick that drops Porfirigo to the mat! Porfirigo scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Bhullar is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Porfirigo's half guard.
Bhullar content to control rather than advance.
Bhullar tries to stand but can't do so whilst Porfirigo controls his leg.

Bhullar perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Bhullar has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Porfirigo misses with some strikes from the bottom.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Porfirigo manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Bhullar on his heels. He'll look to pass Bhullar's guard now, I'm sure.

Bhullar bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Porfirigo's guard.
Bhullar's corner is telling him to maintain position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bhullar has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Porfirigo is proving hard to escape from.

Bhullar wants to pass the guard but Porfirigo is keeping the position.

Bhullar gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Bhullar has closed the distance and engaged Porfirigo in a clinch.
Bhullar pulls guard effortlessly.
Porfirigo trying to control the position from guard on top but Bhullar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Porfirigo is sitting in close to Bhullar's body. Bhullar has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Porfirigo is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Porfirigo is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Bhullar.

Arjan Bhullar was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
