Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ed Green (ranked 551 p4p, 836 weight class) and Necmettin Hoca (ranked 82 p4p, 121 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoca throws the left hand but Green avoids the punch easily.
Green lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Green moves out of range of the strikes.
Green tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hoca was well out of range. Poor timing from Green.

Hoca lands a left and a right that send Green crashing to the mat, dazed. Hoca thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Necmettin Hoca seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Green tries to counter by clinching up but Hoca breaks away and moves out of range.

and Hoca counters with a stiff right hand.
Hoca throws a lazy right hand but Green sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Green drops down looking for a counter takedown but Hoca sprawls and moves away.
Sloppy strikes from Green. Those never looked like landing.
Hoca looks to land a left hand but Green moved out of range nicely.

Green is looking to counter the offense by Hoca and move into the clinch.
Green fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Green avoids the body shot from Hoca.
Green digs a good hook to Hoca's body.
Green displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hoca throws out the jab.

Green is trying to control. Hoca wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Necmettin Hoca dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Green seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Hoca is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
