Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Lee Ryker!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Santiago Holmes and Peter Branson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryker connects with a right hand. Greene shakes it off.
Ryker scores with a crisp jab that stopped Greene in his tracks.
Good leg kick by Ryker.
Greene keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Ryker.
Ryker misses with a series of wild punches.
Ryker's coach down at Monkey Business was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Ryker's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Greene steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ryker.

and Greene counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Ryker wants to control but Greene is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Greene wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ryker keeps working.

Greene is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Ryker sees it coming and defends easily.

Greene is looking for a kimura here.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Greene is keen to just control but Ryker is a slippery customer.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Ryker won't allow Greene to pass to mount.

Greene is looking for a kimura but Ryker is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Greene to get the leverage.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Greene is looking to advance position but Ryker has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Greene is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Greene bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ryker can do anything to dispel that myth.

Greene drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Ryker dives on top into guard.

Ryker is looking to stand up but Greene won't let him.
Greene seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Ryker is stalling in the full guard.
Ryker is continuing to stall.
Ryker must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Greene has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ryker can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Ryker trying to control but Greene is working from the bottom.

Greene is looking to cinch up a triangle. Ryker throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Greene's body to avoid the submission. Greene has instead reached around Ryker's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Greene arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Red Greene!
