The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mfer closes the distance and clinches.
A right hand to the body from Mfer.
Mfer pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Garuda lands with a light punch inside.
Garuda swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Garuda softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Garuda tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Mfer crunches a lovely knee into Garuda's ribcage.
Garuda is breathing heavily.

Mfer lands a left hand.

It looks like Mantak Garuda has been cut.
Mfer lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Mfer looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Still in the clinch, Mfer scores with a nice short uppercut.

Mantak Garuda's cut is getting worse.
Mfer presses Garuda against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Mfer lands an elbow just above Garuda 's eye.
Mfer lands an elbow that stopped Garuda in his tracks for a moment.
Mfer lands a damaging elbow.

Mantak Garuda's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Jeez, Mantak Garuda's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mantak Garuda's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
