Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Aki Muhammad (ranked 2101 p4p, 3789 weight class) and Yuuji Hoshino (ranked 121 p4p, 185 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Yuuji Hoshino!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoshino tried to score with a low kick but Muhammad checks it.
Muhammad was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Decent striking displayed by Muhammad there.
Muhammad looks to throw the jab but Hoshino is out of range.
Hoshino looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Hoshino moves into range and connects with a jab.
Hoshino lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

It looks like Aki Muhammad has been cut.
Muhammad steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Hoshino. That one must have hurt.

Muhammad throws a lazy right hand but Hoshino sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Hoshino ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Muhammad moves away.

Muhammad is rocked!
Hoshino lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Oh Muhammad is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hoshino connects with an inside leg kick.
Hoshino is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Muhammad hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
