Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lazaro Dominguez (ranked 3022 p4p, 6588 weight class) and Ping Lacson (ranked 0 p4p, 550 weight class). Ping Lacson has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ping Lacson!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Winston Alpacca and Sandra Marshall.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lacson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dominguez to the mat! Dominguez manages to get full guard.
Lacson makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Lacson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dominguez swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Lacson landing some decent shots from guard.
Lacson distracts Dominguez with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Dominguez wants to get back to his feet but Lacson passes into half guard.
Lacson prevents Dominguez from standing back up.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Lacson working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

Dominguez kicks off Lacson and gets to his feet.
Dominguez loads up on a big right hand but Lacson slips the punch.
Dominguez clobbers Lacson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

It looks like Ping Lacson has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lacson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dominguez sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lacson somewhat.
Dominguez is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Lacson gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Dominguez.

Dominguez is looking to stand back up but Lacson counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Dominguez.
Dominguez is trying to stand.
Lacson is keen to just control but Dominguez is a slippery customer.
Lacson winds up and cracks Dominguez with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Lacson is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dominguez kicks Lacson off and gets back to his feet.
Dominguez looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Lacson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Dominguez throws Lacson to one side and escapes!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dominguez keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Lacson.
Lazaro Dominguez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ping Lacson.
Lacson looks winded!

Dominguez scores with a jab to the body.
Lacson tries for a takedown but Dominguez sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

and Dominguez counters with a series of strikes. Lacson will be more careful next time no doubt.
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Dominguez moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Lacson! Dominguez continues to tee off on Lacson, landing with a left and a right! Dominguez connects with a right hand that leaves Lacson sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Dominguez!
