PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Roboute Guilliman (ranked 23156 p4p, 2610 weight class) and Jamison Cassidy (ranked 621 p4p, 331 weight class). Guilliman kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Sabaton- Carolus Rex. Cassidy is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Space Oddity by David Bowie. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cassidy clinches up with Guilliman and pushes him back against the ropes.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Cassidy.

Cassidy's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Cassidy has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Guilliman blocks a head kick by Cassidy.

Cassidy fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Guilliman, pushing him back against the ropes.
Guilliman lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

It looks like Jamison Cassidy has been cut.
Cassidy throws a head punch that misses.
Cassidy is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Guilliman is defending well for now.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Cassidy.
Cassidy can't find room to land a body shot as Guilliman controls the action.
Cassidy tries a knee to the head but Guilliman blocks it.
Guilliman blocks an uppercut.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Guilliman obliges.
Cassidy dodges an elbow strike from Guilliman.

Cassidy breaks from the clinch.
Guilliman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Guilliman cracks Cassidy with an open hand slap.
Cassidy on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A chopping leg kick lands by Guilliman.
Cassidy tries to close the distance and clinch but Guilliman swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Guilliman circles away from the clinch attempt
and Guilliman counters with a left to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Guilliman darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Cassidy tries to clinch up.
Cassidy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Cassidy misses with a few strikes there.
Cassidy misses with a double jab
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Guilliman bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Cassidy misses with the body kick
and Guilliman counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Cassidy throws a left and a right that both miss
and Guilliman cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Cassidy is rocked!
Cassidy takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Cassidy is still on wobbly legs! Can Guilliman finish him?
Guilliman is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Guilliman connects with a quick right hand that sends Cassidy tumbling backwards onto the canvas! As his head bounces into the ropes, it doesn't look good for him beating the count! 3,4,5,6,7 and he's up! No, he's back down again! This one is all over - the referee has called off the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Roboute Guilliman!
A relieved looking Roboute Guilliman thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
