Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Costa stuffs the takedown attempt from Allen. Allen gets slowly back to his feet.
A left and a right from Costa both land. Nice combination.

Costa gets tackled into the cage by Allen. Allen maintains the clinch.

Allen pulls guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Costa throwing strikes from guard but Allen blocks nicely.
Allen looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Costa being controlled here momentarily.
Costa has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Costa might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Costa postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Allen bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Costa's guard.

Allen with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Costa has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Allen is working away from the top position though.

Allen gets to mount! Costa was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Costa tries to improve his position but Allen has taken his back! Allen has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Costa tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Allen pushes Costa away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
