Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Milovan Rakic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Dondo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dondo is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Round And Round. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Milovan Rakic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, John Dondo!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rakic throws a nice looking combination but Dondo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Rakic fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Rakic thows a body shot but no joy.
Dondo tries for a takedown but Rakic circles away easily
and Rakic counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like John Dondo has been cut.
Dondo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rakic throws a head kick but Dondo moves out of range.
Dondo avoids the head kick by Rakic.
Rakic throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Dondo sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A punch combination from Dondo misses.
The crowd cheers as Dondo lands an impressive looking overhand right. Rakic doesn't seem phased though.
Dondo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Rakic swivels and escapes.
Dondo goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Milovan Rakic has been cut.
Rakic is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dondo.
Dondo closes the distance and clinches.
Rakic drops down looking for an ankle pick but Dondo pulls his leg out and moves away.
Rakic swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Dondo.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rakic will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Milovan Rakic. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dondo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rakic swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Rakic has a takedown stuffed.
Rakic is breathing heavily.
Rakic tries to bum rush Dondo with a series of wild strikes but Dondo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Dondo drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Dondo would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Dondo wants to pass the guard but Rakic is keeping the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rakic controls Dondo momentarily but Dondo frees himself.
Dondo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rakic swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
No luck for Dondo with that takedown attempt.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rakic looks to land a left hand but Dondo moved out of range nicely.
Dondo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Dondo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rakic circles away.

Rakic is putting a hurting on Dondo here, landing some big shots from side control.
Dondo is trying to improve his position.
Rakic cracks Dondo with a big right hand but Dondo just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Dondo is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Rakic has an Americana. Dondo didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Rakic is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Rakic hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
