The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haidual misses with a two punch combination.
Haidual misses with a takedown attempt - Scott sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Haidual is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Scott fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Haidual manages to avoid it.
Haidual ducks right into an uppercut from Scott.

It looks like Nicolae Haidual has been cut.

Scott darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Haidual is defending against the submission attempts here by Scott.
Scott wants to pass the guard but Haidual is defending well.

Scott has control of Haidual's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Haidual regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Scott cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Scott is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Scott extends the arm and Haidual is forced to tap!
