Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hill Billy Hank!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Miguel Torres!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torres keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Hank slips a straight right by Torres.
Hank changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Torres tries to avoid it but Hank manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Torres to the ground. Torres escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Torres swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Hank tries to clinch up
and Torres counters with a stiff right hand.

and Hank takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've been hearing reports that Hank has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Torres fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hank manages to avoid it.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hank accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Hank stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Torres swivels though and keeps the full guard.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Torres holds on and takes a little breather.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Torres gets caught flat footed, as Hank shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Hank has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Hank shoots in looking for a takedown. Torres tries to sprawl out of it but Hank keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Torres manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Hank rushes Torres and presses him up against the cage.
Torres breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Hank tightens his grip and picks Torres up, before dumping him to the ground. Torres manages to land in guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Torres wants to pass the guard but Hank is keeping the position.
Torres won't allow Hank to get back to his feet.
Torres wants to get up but he can't break Hank's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Hill Billy Hank overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Hank wants to stand and escape but Torres is having none of it.
Hank trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

That was a close second round but I would say that Hill Billy Hank will probably get the nod.
That's time! Hank's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!

Hank fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Torres, pushing him back against the cage.

Hank tries to clinch up but Torres circles away and keeps his distance.
Hank shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Torres counters with a big uppercut that knocks Hank off his feet! Torres dives into side control looking to finish!
Hank is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Torres stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Oh Hank is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hank moves in looking to clinch but Torres pushes him off.
Hank is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Torres's half guard.
