Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charlie IV (ranked 1582 p4p, 2717 weight class) and Warmaster Barnett (ranked 219 p4p, 360 weight class). Barnett has chosen This is WAR by - GWAR as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Charlie IV!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Warmaster Barnett!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
IV throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Barnett drops down looking to force a counter takedown but IV defends it well.
Barnett swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by IV.
IV misses with a body shot.
IV punishes Barnett's body with a nice straight punch.
IV lands with a nice combination. Barnett backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Warmaster Barnett has been cut.
IV scores with a jab to the body.
IV throws out a loose jab but Barnett uses good head movement to avoid it.
IV tries to bum rush Barnett with a series of wild strikes but Barnett uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Barnett tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but IV swivels and escapes.
Barnett scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
IV regains full guard. Nicely done.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Barnett trying to control but IV is working from the bottom.
Barnett is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Barnett really doesn't want to stay on the ground with IV. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
IV is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Barnett presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Barnett is trying to drag IV to the mat but IV just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
That's one minute gone in the round.
IV breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
IV lands a slapping body shot.
IV swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Barnett is defended easily by IV.
Charlie IV has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Warmaster Barnett.
Barnett shoots for a double leg takedown but IV sprawls well. He's pushed Barnett's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Barnett doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Barnett looks winded!
IV jabs Barnett to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Oooooh!!! IV has knocked Barnett down with a huge combo! IV steps away and waves a wobbly Barnett back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
IV steps in with a hook that catches Barnett right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! IV follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Barnett looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Charlie IV!
Charlie IV bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
