Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ethan Mayer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Alexander Cotilla!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cotilla looks to land a combination but Mayer avoids it well.
Cotilla misses with a low kick.
Cotilla tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Mayer is able to avoid easily.
Mayer misses with a straight left.
Cotilla digs a good body shot into Mayer's ribs.
Cotilla throws the left hand but Mayer avoids the punch easily.
Mayer cracks a nice hook into Cotilla's ribs.
A big left from Cotilla misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mayer takes a kick to the side of the head.
It looks like Ethan Mayer has been cut.
Cotilla on the wrong end of a nice jab.
It looks like Alexander Cotilla has been cut.
Cotilla throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mayer throws the left hand but Cotilla avoids the punch easily.
A good leg kick by Cotilla.
Cotilla pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Mayer clobbers Cotilla with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Cotilla misses the shot to the body.
Cotilla uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Mayer.
Mayer scores with a leg kick.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Mayer lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Cotilla has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Cotilla and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Cotilla swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Mayer connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Cotilla takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Cotilla tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mayer lands an overhand right.
Cotilla slips under a jab from Mayer.
Mayer jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Cotilla connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mayer circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Cotilla drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Mayer follows Cotilla to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ethan Mayer!
