The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pliskin lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Meri circles away quickly and effectively.
Meri tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Pliskin swivels and escapes.
Pliskin lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Meri moves in looking to clinch but Pliskin pushes him off.
Pliskin throws a right and a left that Meri avoids nicely.
Pliskin bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Meri is rocked!
A clash of legs there as Meri blocks the low kick.
Meri is looking to clinch.
Pliskin throws a right and a left that Meri avoids nicely.
Meri tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Pliskin paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Pliskin throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Meri.
Meri fails in his attempt to clinch.
Meri looks up at the clock. Bad move! Pliskin lands a right hand from hell, dropping Meri. Pliskin pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
