Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Trent Muscat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zac Lawman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Muscat's entrance music is ultimate fighter song. A fine choice. Zac Lawman is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zac Lawman!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muscat tries to clinch there but Lawman circles away.
Muscat looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lawman is fending him off so far but Muscat persists. Nope, Lawman circles away and we're back to standing.
Muscat shoots in for a double leg but Lawman sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

I looks like Lawman might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Zac Lawman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Muscat had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Lawman is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Muscat Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Lawman's back instead.

Well Lawman has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
