Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jari Nieminen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nieminen comes into the arena with Raised Fist - Wounds blaring out of the sound system. Brian Black is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Nieminen. That did some damage!
Brian Black seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Black with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Black shoots in for a double leg but Nieminen sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Black tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nieminen swivels and escapes.

Nieminen ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Nieminen no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jari Nieminen will probably get the nod.
