The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Austin shoots in for a takedown but Bong shows good takedown defense.
Bong shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Austin sprawls well. Austin wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bong gets slowly back to his feet.

Austin closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bong to the mat! Bong manages to get full guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Bong has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Austin is pushing down on Bong's leg trying to pass to half guard. Bong is fighting to maintain full guard but Austin has managed to sneak the leg through.
Austin has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Austin moves to the back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Austin working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Bong is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Austin has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Bong taps out!
