The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Godwin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cleever tries to avoid it but Godwin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cleever to the ground. Cleever escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Cleever looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cleever wants to stand up but Godwin manages to regain full guard.
Godwin controls Cleever momentarily but Cleever frees himself.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cleever trying to control the position from guard on top but Godwin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Godwin wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Cleever moves in looking to clinch but Godwin pushes him off.

Godwin drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Godwin tries to stand but Cleever is controlling his head.
Cleever is trying to control Godwin's posture but Godwin avoids it.
Godwin trying to control the position but Cleever is working away.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Janko Godwin.
