Hop has chosen Hard in Da Paint as his entrance music. Inspektor Gee could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Hip Hop's chin.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hop chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Gee can pounce on him.
Gee fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Hop is out of range.
Hop waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Gee.
Inspektor Gee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hop looks to land a left hand but Gee moved out of range nicely.

and Gee takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Inspektor Gee has been cut.
Hop misses with a body shot.

Hop swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Gee looks to land a left hand but Hop moved out of range nicely.
Hop throws an overhand right that lands on Gee's shoulder, as Gee tries to avoid the shot.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Hop counters with a crisp right hand that drops Gee! Hop lets Gee back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Hop throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Gee ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hop moves away.
Gee connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Hop's hands.
Gee misses with a series of wild punches.
Hop throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Gee takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Gee seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Hop lands the left hand.
Gee lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Hop sizes up Gee with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Gee clobbers Hop with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Hop lands a big uppercut and Gee crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Gee looks OK. Hop waves Gee back to his feet!

Gee looks to score with a jab to the body but Hop is just out of range.
Hop fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Hop misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Gee.
Hop lunges at Gee with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Gee's hand.
Hop walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Gee walks forward, straight into a front kick from Hop.
Gee is breathing heavily.
Hop throws a lazy uppercut
and Gee counters with a right hand to the body.
Gee slips a jab from Hop.
Hop on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Hop feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Gee sprawling to the canvas! Gee rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Hop finish him?!

Gee is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hop takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Gee takes a shot to the body in his stride.

A little jabbing left from Hop on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Hop feints and then cracks Gee's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Gee down.

Hop cracks Gee with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Gee looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Hop finish him?
Oh Gee is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gee walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Gee limp body while Hop jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Hip Hop!
Hip Hop was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
