Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Zack Kuhn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Thibby Tosen!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Tarja Halkonen and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Tosen throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tosen rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Kuhn counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Tosen tries to roll over but Kuhn keeps him under control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kuhn with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

Kuhn is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Kuhn controlling the pace.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tosen wants to get back to his feet.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Kuhn content to control rather than advance.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Tosen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kuhn. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kuhn is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Kuhn uses his free foot to push down on Tosen's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Tosen.

Kuhn has hold of Tosen's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Tosen manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Kuhn is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Tosen has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Tosen!

Kuhn looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Tosen tries to free his leg and advance position but Kuhn is retaining full guard.

Kuhn manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Tosen wants a takedown.
Kuhn controlling the action here for a moment.
Kuhn will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Tosen up against the cage.
Kuhn gets a warning from the ref for wasting time.

Kuhn has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Tosen clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Tosen manages to stand up with Kuhn still on his back. Eventually Kuhn drops to his feet and we're back in the standing position.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Kuhn keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kuhn attempts a counter takedown but Tosen avoids it well and moves away.

Kuhn thuds his right hand into Tosen's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Kuhn moves away from the strike by Tosen.
Kuhn appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Kuhn uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tosen.
Kuhn attempts a counter takedown but Tosen avoids it well and moves away.
Kuhn misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
And Tosen tries to counter it with a takedown but Kuhn pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Tosen drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Well Kuhn has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A very excited looking Zack Kuhn rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
