Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lito Alcala (ranked 2317 p4p, 2623 weight class) and Dar Jee (ranked 130 p4p, 0 weight class). Jee is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Everybody Knows My Name. Lito Alcala has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lito Alcala!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dar Jee!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Chad Campbell and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alcala lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Alcala keeps the fight on the outside.
Jab, jab by Alcala - just one landing.

Jee clinches up against the cage.

Alcala manages to break the clinch.
Jee tries to clinch but Alcala moves out of range.
Alcala connects with a body shot.

Jee drives through and clinches with Alcala against the cage.
Alcala scores with a shoulder strike.
Alcala lands with a left to the head.
Jee is looking to take this one to the mat.

Jee has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Alcala clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jee doesn't have the hooks in and Alcala manages to turn into his guard.
Alcala stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jee swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Alcala won't allow Jee to sweep him here.
Alcala slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Jee looking to hit a scissor sweep but Alcala is one step ahead there.

Alcala seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Alcala has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Jee looking for a sweep. Not yet Jee, not yet.
Jee wants to hit a sweep here but Alcala passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Jee there!
Jee keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Alcala controlling from the full mount.
Jee is desperately trying to improve his position but Alcala has a good base and remains in mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Alcala sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Jee sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Jee is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Jee keeps trying to improve his position.
Jee wants to sweep but Alcala has passed to side control!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jee tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Jee being controlled for a moment.
Jee is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Alcala is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Jee is wriggling around trying to escape.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Alcala looking to control and managing it successfully.
Jee slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Alcala prevents Jee from improving his position.
Alcala seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Jee tries to get to full guard but Alcala has control of the leg.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Lito Alcala dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Jee wants to clinch up but Alcala keeps it at a distance.
Alcala avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jee tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
The fighters circle momentarily. Alcala darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Jee clinches up with Alcala and pushes him back against the cage.
Alcala lands a body punch in the clinch.
Alcala misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Jee.
Alcala trying to land knees to the body.
Jee goes for a takedown in the clinch but Alcala prevents it.
Jee takes a shot to the head.
A right hand to the body from Alcala.
Alcala lands with a right to the head.
Jee tries for a takedown. No joy.
Jee is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Alcala is defending well.
Lito Alcala has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dar Jee.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nice body punch from Alcala.
Alcala softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Alcala putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Jee in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Jee is breathing heavily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A left hand lands to the body for Alcala.

Alcala pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Alcala clobbers Jee with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Alcala fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Jee.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Alcala moves into range and connects with a jab.
Alcala turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
A jab from Alcala finds it's way through Jee's defenses.

Jee is rocked!
Jee tries to clinch there but Alcala circles away.
Jee closes the distance looking to clinch
and Alcala counters with a head kick.
Jee is still on wobbly legs! Can Alcala finish him?
Alcala fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Jee takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Dar Jee is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Alcala fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Jee doesn't manage to clinch there - Alcala circles away.
Jee seems to have recovered his senses.
Alcala throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Alcala connects with a solid leg kick.
Jee tries to clinch up.
Alcala looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A nice leg kick lands there from Alcala.
Jee takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Jee wants to clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jee tries to close the distance and clinch up but Alcala swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jee fails in his attempt to clinch.
Alcala circles away from the clinch attempt
enabling Alcala to counter with a crisp jab.

Jee has managed to clinch.
Jee wants to take the fight to the mat but Alcala manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Jee is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Alcala is defending well.
Alcala using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Jee has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Jee has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Alcala avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Alcala lands a shot to the body.
A short uppercut from Alcala.
Alcala scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Alcala lands a body shot in the clinch.

Alcala breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Alcala throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Jee on the side of the head.
That kick from Alcala tenderised Jee's leg. Jee is trying to keep his angry face on.
Alcala throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Alcala scores with a nice body kick.
Alcala jabs Jee right on the nose. Jee blinks but takes it well.
Alcala circles away from the clinch attempt.
Alcala lands an overhand right.
Alcala circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Jee drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Alcala follows Jee to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lito Alcala!
Lito Alcala decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
Dar Jee spoke after the fight, saying 'Well that was disappointing'.
