Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Trae Jones (ranked 6369 p4p, 4628 weight class) and Jake Wood (ranked 0 p4p, 263 weight class). Jones's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, King Von. Jake Wood will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wood drives through with a takedown into Jones's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Wood stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Wood pushing down on Jones's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Wood looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Jones might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wood with the ground and pound but Jones uses the opportunity to regain guard.

Wood tries to free his leg and advance position but Jones is retaining full guard.
Wood slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
It looks like Wood might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wood trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Jones manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

Jones knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wood on the ground.
Wood is pulling down on Jones's head to control his posture.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Wood looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Jones is defending well. Wood quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Jones has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Wood celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
